CAn: 30 years of rope access works 1976 : CAN came upe with the innovative idea of applying the techniques of mountain-climbing and caving to high-rise construction and this shook up the traditional methods of working on areas of difficult access. This led to technical stringency and daring, which have been thirty years of experience and constant innovation. The CAN teams provide their experience to large industrial and public works projects throughout the world. Their independence enable them to carry a considerable part of their activities out of France. Its accumulated know-how, creativity and quality have made CAN a benchmark operator in the profession. CAN plays an active role in the national and international professional bodies and thus contribute to the advancement of techniques and the drawing up of regulations.
Each case provided by CAN for simple or complex construction sites has a three-fold objective:
- total safety control: public safety, the safety of workers and third parties,
- control of the technical choices as the principal element of the cost price/deadline ratio,
- complete control of the quality "without which all other form of control mean nothing".
This policy led CAN to become the 1st company that obtained the "Quality and Security" label. | Michel Richard
